A comfortable and welcoming space created inside The Place that is built, led and managed by the younger generations of Newport.

 

The Living room is a space to meet, play, learn,  work and chill out. With free wifi, a giant hand-made vending machine, a young peoples curated gallery, sensory ‘Nook’ and way more, once you come to the living room, you wont want to leave. Open to all ages, the living room is a city centre space like no other, so pop in, grab a cuppa.

 

The living room has been created by the team of young people at Newport Youth Academy, with the creative support of Tin Shed Theatre Co and a whole host of freelance artists and Newport artisans. 

 

The project managed and funded by TGP Cymru and the Sgliiau project and forms part of Tin Shed’s creative vision for their Arts Council funded project, The People Are The City.
